Push-Up Challenge: Completed!

July 1, 2022

As you might have seen previously, the Painted Dogs decided to take part in The Push-Up Challenge 2022 – a great cause which aims to increase awareness for mental health. It provided a chance for us to not only start conversations about this important topic, but also to get a little more active throughout our work days, to have a laugh with each other, and to raise some money! The commitment to the cause among the pack was evident, with every member of the team doing their bit. All in all, 17,253 push-ups were completed in the 24-day challenge period. That works out to around 30 push-ups an hour, every hour, every day, for 24 days – a mammoth effort (if we don’t say so ourselves)!!

At the start of the challenge, we set ourselves a team goal of raising $1,000. Not only did we achieve this, but thanks to the support of our very generous clients, friends, family, and even strangers, we managed to raise $1,630! Every cent of this will go towards mental health and crisis support services (such as Lifeline, Movember, and The Push for Better Foundation), helping to breakdown stigmas and provide hope to those struggling with their mental health, so no one goes through their darkest moments alone.

We’re proud of ourselves as a pack for taking part in such a momentous challenge, and actively want to thank each and every person who was able to donate to help further our cause. We look forward to continuing the conversations about mental health throughout the year, and to bettering our score in the 2023 challenge!
