Cup Day at Painted Dog!
November 5, 2021Yeah, we’ve been pretty busy lately! But at Painted Dog, we also know how important it is to let our hair down and have some fun. So on Tuesday, the pack took to the South Perth foreshore to celebrate Melbourne Cup.
A fantastic day was enjoyed by all – with some fabulous spring racing outfits, lots of laughter and a decadent three-course lunch thrown into the mix! Justin, Jordan and Michelle even landed on the winners in the office sweepstakes (and Nicole got the wooden spoon…).
Of course, on a day of racing there’s always winners and losers. But if there’s anything that Painted Dogs are known for – it’s being fierce competitors! So naturally, we all got behind Ivan as he bravely strutted his stuff and brought home a best dressed prize.
Honourable mention must go to Mr Matthew Morrish, who arrived at lunch in a sling, directly from the hospital, after a nasty spill on his bike (get well soon Matty). Such commitment to the pack!
With lots of project work and just seven weeks until we close for Christmas (AGHHH!), the day was a great chance to enjoy some sunshine and each other’s company. But now, it’s back to the office for the final sprint towards the 2021 finish line!
