People’s Voice Survey reveals West Australians want Net Zero by 2050

Painted Dog was back on the cover this week, with a poll run for the West Australian and Seven West Media revealing that almost 80% of West Aussies are looking for a Net Carbon Neutral solution by 2050. This finding supports the Morrison Government’s ongoing attempt amend the climate change strategy to include a commitment towards targeting ‘net zero’ by 2050.
The poll found that while most West Australian’s support the push for ‘net zero’, support was highest among younger people, sitting at around 90%. Additionally, 86% of young families also agreed with the target – looking to protect our country for future generations.
As with all our People’s Voice Surveys, the survey was run through our Rewarding Views panel partner and the sample profile was fully representative of the WA community.
