Dog Spotto: Kristy!

May 29, 2020

Fridays are Staff Spotlight days! We throw the spotlight onto one of our Painted Dogs and they answer the questions you’ve always wanted to know! This week’s spotlight falls on Kristy; we gave her a few fun questions to answer so take a read below to get to know her a little better!

What is something you did as a child your parents don’t know about?

Being from a large family, I’m the eldest of eight kids, I loved Christmas! I actually used to set an alarm to get up before everyone else to see what Santa had left for all of us kids. One year this backfired on me as Santa had brought us all new bikes and had left them beside our beds. I jumped out of bed while it was still dark and crashed into my brand spanking new aqua blue 10 speed bike.

What is one thing you wish you were better at?

I wished I could play a musical instrument. I’d love to be able to play the piano. I am in awe of those who have the dexterity to be able to play and create complex pieces of music. Unfortunately, with my fingers, I’m flat out being able to touch type.

What song can always make you dance, especially when no one’s around?

It’s probably Mr Brightside by the Killers. I remember at our wedding practically every guest was up on the dance floor – even my grandparents!

What is your favourite thing about your career?

VARIETY this includes working with such a range of different clients, industries and sectors but also the tasks we get to do. I still enjoy getting stuck into the nitty gritty data analysis and seeing what I can pull out of the data, but I love actually translating that into actions – be that through creating reports and charts or getting up in front of project teams and workshopping the insights right alongside them, that would be my favourite part for sure!
