Maternity Leave!

Painted Dog is saying a temporary goodbye to not one, but two of our favourite humans, as Marissa and Hayley head off on maternity leave.
Marissa is welcoming baby number two and after more than a decade of keeping clients happy and meeting deadlines, she’s decided another newborn is just the challenge she wanted. Baby’s gender is still a mystery (to us) and we wait with baited breath for this big reveal!
Hayley, three years into her career with us, is about to become a Mum for the first time. She’s having a little boy, and if he inherits even half her drive and organisational ability, he’ll have a colour-coded nappy bag and a five-year plan by the time he’s walking.
Between them, these two carry an enormous amount. Deep client relationships, sharp instincts, and the kind of calm, get-it-done energy that makes hard projects look easy. They’ve been working incredibly hard all the way up until today wrapping up projects and conducting handovers and we couldn’t be more grateful for their efforts. We’ll hold the fort. We’ll miss them terribly. And we are absolutely already counting down to their return.
That said, we couldn’t be more excited for them both. This is the good stuff and we’ve loved chatting with them, hearing about their parenting plans and celebrating with them over lunch today.
We’re hanging out for name reveals and we can’t wait to meet you, little ones! Take care of your Mums, they’re kind of a big deal around here.
