At Painted Dog, we will always believe in the power of action especially when it comes to preserving our planet. We’re living up to our mantra ‘Making a positive difference in everything we do’ and have addressed office sustainability by implementing Containers for Change and recently participated in Clean Up Australia Day.
Clean Up Australia Day is an annual initiative that rallies people to unite in cleaning up and removing litter from their local surroundings. This year, with over 750,000 volunteers nationwide, including our team at Painted Dog, we joined forces to tidy up our local Leederville community.
Containers for Change is a not-for-profit organisation that delivers recycling bins to offices and communities to focus on reducing container litter, increase recycling efforts and help communities benefit through paying refunds to individuals, charities, and community groups. So far, over 7 billion containers have been recycled through this program and the charity we have decided to donate to is Lifeline – acharity organisation close to our heart.
By placing sustainability at the forefront, we’re not only effecting positive change for the planet but also nurturing a culture of environmental responsibility within our organisation. We firmly believe in the significance of every small action and recognise that together, we can create a greener future.
