We’re front page news… again!

At Painted Dog, we genuinely get a kick out of surveying the community to find out what they think and feel – about almost anything! With any topic, big or small, it’s fascinating to learn about how other people tick. Last week, we ran a survey of over 600 WA community members about who they would prefer to lead our state – with the results making the front page of the West on Thursday.
It seems that our current Premier Roger Cook is the most preferred of the bunch – but only 1 in 5 (19%) believe he’s the best person for the top job. Libby Mettam and Basil Zempilas were neck-and-neck for second and third place, with just over 10% of the vote each. However, almost half said they have no preferred leader (46%), which was most common among those aged 18-34 (66%).
So, it’s pretty clear that WA is not really in consensus about who we think should lead our state… but what do you think?
