Irony
October 19, 2012Last week we had a presentation at the RAC. We were all in Justin’s car, weaving through early morning West Perth traffic.
Within sight of the RAC building, there was a notable WOPPA WOPPA WOPPA WOPPA sound suddenly coming from one of the car’s back tyres (and not the car’s sound system, which would have been slighly more acceptable).
After parking the car in front of the RAC building and hopping out to have a look, the origin of the sound was discovered – a long nail had become stuck in the tire. The hissing sound of escaping air could clearly be heard.
Fortunately, all this happened in the right place where we could get to the meeting and call on a certain yellow van for assistance…
Within about 20 minutes the problem was dealt with and we were on our way. Thank you RAC Roadside Assist!
