Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

  1. Instructions on how to enter and other details contained within promotional messages for this competition form part of the conditions of entry.
  2. By entering the competition, entrants agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
  3. The Terms and Conditions of this competition are governed by the laws of the State of Tasmania.
  4. The competition is being run by Painted Dog Research, 333 Drummond St Carlton 3053 on behalf of Metro Tasmania, 212 Main Road, Moonah, 7009 TAS
  5. The Metro Tasmania Prize Draw Competition begins on Tuesday, July 8th, 2025.
  6. The closing time for entering the competition is 11:59PM AEST on August 2nd, 2025.
  7. Painted Dog Research and Metro Tasmania reserve the right to bring forward the closing time for the competition at their discretion.
  8. Entry to the competition is open to those who have rode any of the ZEB trial buses or select diesel buses with the relevant QR codes fitted.
  9. To enter the competition, the entrant must:
    • Complete the survey before the closing time and provide their contact details within the relevant section indicating interest in participating in the competition to be eligible.
    • Enter legitimate and legible responses to the questions throughout the survey.
  10. Entry to the competition is free. Entrants will be responsible for all costs associated with entering the competition, which may include costs associated with accessing the internet.
  11. Entrants may only enter the competition once. Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than a single entry by using multiple/different e-mail addresses, identities, or any other method(s), will void all of that participant’s entries.
  12. Staff employed by Metro Tasmania and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter the competition.
  13. There will be four (4) prizes: 4 x $250 GiftPay e-vouchers.
  14. GiftPay will allow winners to redeem their $250 vouchers at multiple online and in-store retailers of choice like Uber, Uber Eats, ASOS, Domino’s, EB Games, Rebel, Webjet, and more.   15. The draw will commence at 10am Australian Eastern Standard Time on August 22nd, 2025 at Painted Dog Research, 333 Drummond St Carlton 3053. The winners will be drawn by Painted Dog Research by random number electronic generator of all eligible entries received.
  16. The prize winners will be contacted within seven (7) days of the draw by the email address or phone number supplied by the entrant within the survey.
  17. If the prize winner does not respond to claim the prize or confirm their win within twenty-one (21) days of the draw, a re-draw will be conducted within thirty (30) days of the original draw date, in the same location, and with the same method. Redraws will continue in the same manner until all prizes have been claimed by prize winners.
  18. If the prize winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or legal guardian.
  19. The e-voucher will be emailed to the prize winner.
  20. The prize winner, or if under the age of 18 years their parent or legal guardian, may be required to provide evidence of their identity (such as photographic ID, birth certificate or current passport) when receiving the prize.
  21. The prize winner will be responsible for all costs associated with collecting and using the prize.
  22. By entering the competition, the entrant agrees that they are over the age of 18 years, of if under the age of 18 years, have their parent’s or legal guardian’s consent to enter the competition.
  23. The prize is not redeemable for cash or an alternative prize.
  24. The prize is not transferrable.
  25. Painted Dog Research and Metro Tasmania are not responsible in any manner whatsoever for any problems or any financial costs incurred, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other persons related to or resulting from participation in this competition.
  26. Painted Dog Research and Metro Tasmania accept no responsibility and shall not be held legally liable or responsible for any accident, loss, injury, or damage to any individual or property whether direct or indirect, whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise arising out of or in connection with the competition or the prize, either during or after the competition.
  27. Entry into the competition signifies acceptance of all conditions. Entrants are required to abide by the Terms and Conditions as presented.
  28. Personal information provided by an entrant to Painted Dog Research for the purpose of entering the Competition will be collected, used, and disclosed in accordance with Painted Dog Research’s Privacy Statement. Personal information collected will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, loaned, or otherwise disclosed to any third party otherwise than in accordance with the privacy statement and these Terms and Conditions.
