Family, Business, Respect… (EOFY)

Last week, we took a moment to celebrate the financial year that was, spending the day as a ‘family’ in Fremantle. This year’s theme saw our team dress up as mobsters and mob wives, donning our best old-timey suits and fur coats.
Celebrations started at the office in Leederville, where we split into 3 mob-inspired families – the Moretti’s, the Costa’s, and the Falcone’s; and it was here where the activity of the day (a big game of ‘Mafia’) was initiated. After some special announcements and family photos at the office in the morning, we boarded the bus to Freo for lunch and a casual (read, highly competitive) game of darts. We competed against our rival families and even had to detect our own family ‘rat’ who was set secret tasks throughout the day. A day of celebration, deception and detection!
All in all, the day was a refreshing change of pace from daily office-activities – and everyone appreciated a day set aside to acknowledge the accomplishments of the team, and refocussing towards all the exciting moments yet to come for 2026.
