New faces? Yes, please!

You guessed it. New year, new talent! Nothing says ‘welcome back to the office’ for a fresh start better than fresh faces – what a way to kick off 2026!
A big welcome to newbies Isabel and Elle. They’ve joined us with spades of enthusiasm and we can’t wait to see their careers unfold.
Why they wanted to become Painted Dogs:
E: Working with people who are passionate about what they do. Painted Dog’s culture of curiosity and creativity also really stood out to me.
I: I was drawn to Painted Dog because it offered the chance to explore a new side of marketing and put my university skills into practice. Working at an agency across a range of industries really appealed to me, and I’d heard great things about the supportive culture, which made it feel like the perfect place to learn, grow and build my career.
What they’re most looking forward to:
E: I’m most excited about the opportunity to apply my learnings from academic research to market and social research, and to learn new tools and approaches along the way.
I: Being a part of a collaborative team and learning from others whilst contributing to projects that make a positive difference in the community.
Their first week highlights:
E: Playing in a remote-control mini car battle on my first day was an unexpected highlight, but the biggest highlight was the warm welcome Izzy and I received from the Painted Dog team. I’m already feeling like part of the pack!
I: The lovely welcome morning tea the team hosted-on Elle and I’s first day. There is nothing more special than coming in somewhere new and feeling welcomed and excited to work.
Best piece of advice received in their first week:
E: Noise-cancelling headphones are a must for focus time!
I: Where the best cafes and lunch spots are! Unfortunately, I will have to try every recommendation, but for scientific reasons of course.
