Another one!?

August 14, 2025

Spring is in the air, and so is the buzz at Painted Dog.

As the weather (tries to) warm up here in WA, the office is alive with energy — and not just because we’re soaking up the sunshine. The real excitement? New faces.

We’ve recently welcomed a few fresh hires to the team, and there’s always a special kind of vibe when we’re getting to know our newest packmates and showing them the ropes of PDR life. The latest to join us is Charlotte Leary, and she’s taken quite the journey to get here.

Originally from the UK and having spent some time in Sydney, Charlotte has followed the sun across the country and landed in Perth. Along the way, she’s brought with her a wealth of experience and a deep curiosity for understanding what makes people tick.

She’s taken to life in the office like a duck to water — though she has mentioned we’re a bit louder than expected — and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her on board.

As is tradition, we’ve hit Charlotte with our signature “newbie questions.” Read on to get to know her a little better:

Why Painted Dog? What attracted you to us?

The people! I’d heard such lovely things about the Painted Dog pack and the work they do. I’m excited to learn from some of the best brains in the industry.

What are you most excited about / looking forward to in your role?

Learning from everybody around me and re-discovering my quant skills… I’m a quallie at heart, but excited to be involved in all elements of projects and working on such a variety of client accounts.

What was the highlight of your first week?

Hitting the ground running and already getting involved with focus groups and IDIs. They’re really interesting projects and it’s really cool to be able to get my hands dirty from day one.

Best piece of advice you received from another staff member so far?

Always have a jumper or jacket at the ready… I’m not about to get involved in office air-con politics!

Great to have you here, Charlotte! We’re sure you’ll get used to the noise very very soon.
